Time extension in Moodle
Time extension for students with right to ?disadvantage compensation? in Moodle quizzes.
We recommend implementing the right to time extension as a measure to compensate for disadvantages in the same way as this is done at ETH Zurich for exams: By overriding the user settings "User Overrides".
User Overrides
Navigate to the quiz whose time limit you want to adjust for individual learners.

Click on the Action menu (gear icon) [1] at the top right and then select "User Overrides" [2].

Click on "Add user override".

In the following "Edit Override" view, select the users for whom you want to override the given time limit.

The desired person/s is/are now selected as user/s (Override User) [1].
Adjust the time limit under "Time limit" by the desired additional percentage of time [2].
Do not forget to save the new settings [3].

Entitled to compensation for disadvantages are persons who live with a "disability" in the legal sense, i.e. as defined in the Disability Equality Act (BehiG) Art. 2. para. 1. (external page https://www.szh.ch/themen/nachteilsausgleich)
