ETH Library @ swisscovery allows you to access over 30 million books, series, journals and non-book materials, as well as billions of electronic articles. You can use ETH Library @ swisscovery to search the holdings of all ETH Zurich libraries, as well as more than 470 libraries across Switzerland. It even is possible to search within the billions of articles by selecting “swisscovery” instead of “swisscovery without CDI” in the search field.
ETH Library offers a comprehensive range of services on all aspects of publishing.

The Research Collection - Repository for Publications and Research Data is ETH Zurich’s publication platform. University members can
? publish their scientific papers, theses, presentations, reports etc. open access
? archive their research data and make them accessible to the public.
Furthermore, the Research Collection records all publications produced at ETH Zurich and serves as a source for publication lists in the academic reporting and on ETH Zurich’s websites.
Proper research data management is a key prerequisite for effective data sharing and publishing, which in turn increases the visibility of one’s scholarly work and thus is likely to increase citation rates.
Funding organizations like the Swiss National Science Foundation or Horizon 2020 mandate data management plans for projects they fund. The plans are sometimes already required in the proposal and should be updated throughout the project.

The High Performance Computing (HPC) group of the IT Services (ID HPC) is responsible for the central computing facilities of ETH. The HPC Team will be happy to evaluate your computing needs (hardware and software) with you and find the best way to fulfil those needs.

Central Computing Facilities, Data Management and Hardware
Scientific IT Services (SIS) is a division of ETH IT Services. The division is comprised of three groups:
- High Performance Computing (HPC). The focus of this group is to provide first-class HPC resources to ETH researchers.
- Scientific Software and Data Management (SSDM). The focus of this group is to write complex software systems for data acquisition, analysis and research data management.
- Research Informatics (RI). The focus of this group is to assist researchers by providing solutions for data management, processing and analysis.
